Dram Good 2

Monikie Angling Club is delighted to announce the 2026 Glencadam / Monikie Challenge, Dram Good 2 – the sequel!
This "dram good" event, which takes place on Friday August 21, 5-9 pm, is hosted by Monikie Angling Club in association with Angus Dundee Distillers.
The aim is to provide an enjoyable, competitive event; with all proceeds going to club funds.
The competition is open to members and non-members on a first come first served basis.
Anglers will be randomly partnered in 13 boats on the Monikie Island Pond.
All participating anglers will receive a Glencadam "goody bag" which will include a Glencadam miniature, other Glencadam merchandise, a ticket to win a bottle of Glencadam Single Malt, an opportunity to sample some drams at the end of the fishing.
The winning angler will receive a bottle of the highly acclaimed Glencadam 18-year-old Single Malt.
Entry costs £30 per angler. There are no concessionary rates.
To book a place contact the duty bailiff on 01382 370300 between the hours of 09.00-10.30, and 13.00-13.30 or 17.00-18.30 any day.
We anticipate this will sell out fast so don’t delay!
